CISAC has launched the new Global Cue Sheet Standard 2.0<\/i>, a critical upgrade designed to streamline the use and management of music rights in audiovisual (AV) productions. Created in collaboration with IFPI and supported by the Society Publisher Forum, this new standard includes recording metadata for the first time, easing the identification of musical works and sound recordings, and ensuring accurate revenue distribution for copyrights and neighbouring rights. Massimo Pontoriero, C.E.O. of SOUNDTRACK S.R.L., was part of the expert workgroup that developed the standard and oversaw its Italian translation, enhancing the initiative\u2019s impact in Italy. <\/p>\n
