31 May Auditel data analysis of April 2022
April 2022 Auditel data point out that:
- • RAI aims to win prime time audiences, giving up the second evening and strengthening the RAI Play platform.
- • Mediaset is the television group with the most ratings in the total of 24 hours, above all thanks to the late evening work of the digital terrestrial channel portfolio (Iris, La5, Cine34, Top Crime, 20, Twentyseven, Focus, all 1% share channels in the 24 hours and with a share between 1.3% and 2% in the late evening).
- • Sky doubled its share compared to 2021: even without the whole football A series, it reached 6.56% of the total of the 24 hours.
In prime time, the most viewed channel remains RAI Uno, with a 19% share, compared to Canale 5’s 15.2%; RAI Due is stable, while RAI Tre loses 1.2 share points in the 24 hours and 0.8 points in prime time. On the other hand, Italia Uno gains ground in prime time (0.4 points at 5.4% share), while Rete 4 is stuck at 4.4%, behind La7, which reaches 4.7%.
After Mediaset and Rai, Discovery is in third place on the podium of television ratings: 6.93% share in 24 hours.
