Adv revenues on TV: January/May 2022 – 3.7% compared to 2021

Compared to May 2021, the advertising revenues of the leading Italian TV companies dropped by 4.6% (to a total of EUR 380.8 million). The loss for the first five months of 2022 is 3.7 % (equal to EUR 1.56 million).

Discovery is the only growing broadcaster in May, while Mediaset’s, Rai’s, La7’s, and Sky’s losses are -1.9%, -4.5%, 10.4% and 19%, respectively.

The progressive from January 2022 to May 2022 thus leads Discovery to grow by 4.2% (for just over €108 million), Mediaset remains stable at -0.3% (for €889.4 million), Rai at -4.9% (for €332.8 million), La7 -7.3% (€69.4 million), and Sky -18.7% (€167 million).
